Your mattress stays dry because a waterproof layer prevents any liquid from passing through.

Durable and discreet as the waterproof layer is between the wadding and the fabric.

An elastic strap in each corner keeps your mattress protector in place.

The mattress protector is machine-washable at 140°F (Hot), a temperature that kills dust mites.

It’s held on by an elastic around the corners only but I don’t understand why that’s a problem for other customers possibly if their mattress is very thin it may move more. For me it fits perfectly, has a nice thickness and quilty feeling to it and is 100% waterproof. My toddlers have peed and vomited it and it goes through the wash coming out fresh and more importantly it kept the mattresses in perfect condition. My only regret is I didn’t buy enough of them. Great product. Choose this one over any other brand.5

There is a chemical smell to this product.Anonymous reviewerIn reading reviews before buying this, I noticed someone commented on the smell of this product. It does have a strong, chemical smell. It reminds me of a plasticy, solvent like smell. The smell continues despite washing, and now I am airing out the material on an outdoor laundry rack. I am sure the smell will eventually dissipate but it is quite potent when the product is newly unwrapped.3
