LED light bulbs are both energy efficient and long-lasting, with a lifetime of approximately 25,000 hours.

This LED light bulb spreads the same warm light as a traditional 14W light bulb – without flickering or emitting any sound. Just what you need to create a nice, cozy atmosphere in the room.

The colour rendering index (CRI) of a light bulb defines how well the light reflects true colours. A value above 80 is good and close to a natural light. This light bulb has an index of 90.

LED light bulbs are available with different colour temperatures that make the light feel more or less warm. This particular light bulb emits a warm-white light (2700 Kelvin).

The outer casing is made of durable plastic and can withstand temperatures from -20°C to +40°C.

Illuminates at full power immediately when you turn the lamp on.

The light bulb is not dimmable.

Shockingly good for LEDMartyI'm sensitive to LED lighting. Most LEDs hurt my eyes, give me headaches, and some trigger my migraines. Because of this my house is illuminated with fluorescents and even some incandescents. But these particular Solhetta LED are legitimately astonishing. In the store I immediately knew they were special. They don't hurt my eyes, don't give me headaches, and don't flicker. Even using slow-motion filming I was unable to capture any flicker at all. They create a genuine, warm 2700k colour. If you are sensitive to LEDs these might the ones for you. They are proof that if a company wants to, they can create very high quality LEDs. (Be aware though, not all LEDs that IKEA sells are this level of quality.)5

Ryet was betterRickWe were told in store that these are a direct replacement to Ryet. They aren't. Ryet 200lm was brighter than these 253lm, and while both are advertised at 2700k, these are more yellow. I have 12 bulbs in the kitchen and just replaced the dying ones, but now I have 2 different colors and brightness levels.2

Perfect amount of lightLisaI bought these replacement bulbs for use in my bathroom. They emit the perfect amount of light and were easy to install. Definitely a repurchase.5
Great valueBethI was afraid when the bulb in my 20+ year-old IKEA reading lamp burned out that I wouldn't be able to find a replacement. At a nearby hardware store, I saw something roughly equivalent, $17 for one bulb. Then I went to IKEA and found this 3-pack for $4.99! My lamp is shining bright again, and I have backups for possibly two decades from now.5
Keep in mind the old model of this bulb had a white base which gave a better finished overall look. Now I have a mixed matched ceiling fixture that is not esthetically pleasing. Now I have a choice to change all the bulbs to match which is not environmentally friendly since8 my old bulbs still work. The luminescent is identical, for that I am grateful.JoanneKnowing the base of the bulb is now clear vs the old opaque white base. If you want them to match, you might want to purchase multiple packages to switch out the old model. The previous version was much more esthetically pleasing. The new bulb gives it a cheaper look. 3
