Not usable KelseyThe loops don’t line up in each of the elastic rows. It’s not possible to put pencils in straight. My daughter and I are both very frustrated.
Wish I could return but we live 5 hrs away from ikea. How disappointing. 1
Not for paintbrushesKatyDo not use this for paintbrushes. I did and it ruined some of my most expensive ones. The flap makes it seem as though the bristles on brushes will be protected but in fact the material is too rough and will destroy them.3

Kinda works - but poorly stitched SonjaThe stitching on the roll is misaligned such that the top loops don’t line up with the bottom loops. You can kinda force the pencils or pen in - but some loops are entirely unusable. Would seem fairly simple to sew from the top loop to the bottom in a straight line. Can’t see how this would pass quality control otherwise it looks nice, simple design that should have been executed with more attention to detail.2
Unusable. Elastic straps are misalignedDavidLooked like a cheap pencil roll at first glance, but the two lines of elastic are sewn so poorly that the roll is not functional. Loops on the top elastic strip are not sewn to align with loops on the bottom elastic strip. Pencils are hard to insert to not lie parallel to axis of the roll.
The way the loop size varies from smaller to larger on the top elastic and larger to smaller on the bottom elastic makes me suspect that the sewing pattern was actually flipped between the top and bottom elastics.1
The notches are very uneven makes it hard to put pencils and crayons in.LindaIt would have been helpful if they had a display with the crayons in it to show exactly how to properly use it.2
