SÖDERHAMN seating series allows you to sit deeply, low and softly with the loose back cushions for extra support.

Light, airy design with high legs and slim lines, yet still a great comfort thanks to the elastic weave in the bottom and high resilience foam in the seat cushions.

The sofa's sections can be used freestanding or combined in different ways to get a size and shape that suits you and your home.

If you need a larger sofa, you can add a section or two to your existing combination.

You can create your own perfect combination with the planning tool. Assemble, take apart and put together again until it’s just right.

The removable back cushions give your body support where needed. For example, place several behind your back for a more upright position or use them to make it comfortable when lying down and reading.

The depth of the sofa makes it perfect for relaxing or even taking a nice nap.

You can place the chaise section to the left or right of the sofa, and switch whenever you like.

You can choose to use the sofa with or without armrests, depending on the expression you want to create.

The high legs make it easy to clean the floor under the sofa.

This cover is made of the fabric Viarp in cotton and polyester. It has a clear texture and a mélange effect that makes it less sensitive to stains.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

Poorly Made and Warranty Issues.SamanthaThis sectional is poorly made and warranty is a hassle and time consuming. (So far 1month of back and forth still no resolution) My sofa has collapsed and upon further inspection the only thing holding up human weight is a sheet of white fabric and staples. No additional reinforcement such as springs or wood.. i purchased thinking this item would atleast last 10years based on the warranty i was wrong.. not even 5years of light use (i live alone) and the couch has already given out. I opened a warranty claim and was approved but the item needed to be brought back to a store. I told them i don’t have a license and the nearest ikea store is over 3h away. I requested pick up. A representative told me a pick up slot would be scheduled.. But today a new representative told me pick up was not a option. Very frustrating and disappointed in the customer service/ Warranty Claims.1
Sofa Fabric isn’t Good Quality Sabai had same style sofa before which I purchased in 2011 and it was durable now its shifted in our basement and still serving and in good shape. Now I purchased same style in different fabric last year and I have major issue with its Fabric. It became very rough after few months of use. I am looking for its fabric warrenty and need help from Ikea for that. I have beige color Fabric of SÖDERHAMN with a side chase. I have no issue with its structure or anything else. My kids jumped on the old one the whole day and it didn't break :) 3

Messy large couchAnonymousI've had this sectional for ten years and have disliked it almost as long. It never looks organized, the fabric is super thick and hard to remove or get dry once washed. The bonus is space if you're looking for a couch as wide as a bed then you're all set. 3
Not very comfortable JeffWe bought rhis couch because we liked the look. The comfort is awful. We are going to look to buy extra foam to insert. It kills your back if your not lying down.3
Wide seatsOlgaI got a sofa/chaise lounge combo with an extra side in case I decide to separate them one day. This is not the softest furniture you will seat on but it provides enough comfort and it looks sleek. My favorite feature is the extra wide seats. You can curl up in the corner or stretch your legs, or sit almost diagonally - there's always enough room. Despite being this wide, it's still within the width of my old couch and doesn't take more room. I love the low profile and minimalist look and neutral grey upholstery (which, by the way, is completely removable - another awesome feature!) - add some colorful cushions to make it blend in with almost any interior. The sofa section is long and wide enough for an adult to fully stretch when lying down. Very easy to assemble. I used a steamer to smooth out some wrinkles on the fabric with great results. It's a very versatile sectional and I'm happy with the purchase. I hope it stands up to the test of time.5
