  • This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

Not worth the purchaseSvetlanaWe purchased this couch about a year ago, and I actually bought several pieces to make a large couch in my living room. After spending close to $3500 plus taxes I realize it’s not worth it. The cushions integrity does not last past three months. When you wash the couch covers, they start to frey quickly. I’ve evyn got the couches professionally cleaned several occasions and you can see the strings coming out of the couch. Yes it’s great that the couch covers come off and can be machine washed. However, they shrink quickly even on air dry. These couches look like I’ve had them for over 10 years and it’s not even been two years since we purchased them. I would definitely stay away from this couch. It looks nice but is a huge pain in the butt and it’s not worth the money this is one of my biggest regret purchases from IKEA. 1

Great SofaJaneWe’ve had this sofa for many years and it’s held up well. We just bought new covers. It looks like new again. What a great option over replacing the entire sofa! My only complaint is that the new covers aren’t as high quality as the original ones from 8 years ago.5
Confortable and well pricedDeboraThe only complaint I have is that I wish there was a way to attach the cushions to the back of the couch. But it is a sturdy yet comfortable couch, easy to clean and wide! The chaise part could be about a foot longer for more comfort as well but it works really well for smaller spaces due to the smaller chaise.4
