The new Kelinge cover is a huge improvementLisaGot this cover today and it’s a huge improvement on my old one. The fabric is more tightly woven making it better for my cat. It’s also very soft
The best part is that they solved the problem of the cushions moving around. They put zipper under the cover for the cushions so they stay completely in place. It’s also now one piece so it’s easier to take off and wash. I was surprised and impressed with the improvement over the old version!
Do not buy if you have pets RebeccaAbsolutely loved the colour- bought this to refresh our couch from the older (ironically more durable) fabric- but with pets it was destroyed almost immediately. Fabric snags very easily and impossible to weave back in.
Not worth the purchaseSvetlanaWe purchased this couch about a year ago, and I actually bought several pieces to make a large couch in my living room. After spending close to $3500 plus taxes I realize it’s not worth it. The cushions integrity does not last past three months. When you wash the couch covers, they start to frey quickly. I’ve evyn got the couches professionally cleaned several occasions and you can see the strings coming out of the couch. Yes it’s great that the couch covers come off and can be machine washed. However, they shrink quickly even on air dry. These couches look like I’ve had them for over 10 years and it’s not even been two years since we purchased them. I would definitely stay away from this couch. It looks nice but is a huge pain in the butt and it’s not worth the money this is one of my biggest regret purchases from IKEA.
Cushion Integrity QuestionableAnonymous reviewerDespite the fact that the showroom model was not showing the same issue, we have had this item for a few weeks and the cushions are continuously creeping over the front of the sofa and the way it is constructed makes it very difficult to straighten and pull back into place
Repalcement covers for SöderhamnAnonymous reviewerReally good quality fabric, neutral colour, easy to put on.
It's too tight at the bottomChristieI love it EXCEPT I can hardly even do up the zippers and when I do get them zipped, the bottom does not lay nice at all.
Very nice and comfortableSalimaVery nice and comfortable
Great SofaJaneWe’ve had this sofa for many years and it’s held up well. We just bought new covers. It looks like new again. What a great option over replacing the entire sofa! My only complaint is that the new covers aren’t as high quality as the original ones from 8 years ago.
Confortable and well pricedDeboraThe only complaint I have is that I wish there was a way to attach the cushions to the back of the couch. But it is a sturdy yet comfortable couch, easy to clean and wide! The chaise part could be about a foot longer for more comfort as well but it works really well for smaller spaces due to the smaller chaise.
