You can really loosen up and relax in comfort because the high back on this sofa provides extra support for your neck.
High-resilience foam filling combined with polyester fibre wadding provides nice support – so you sit very comfortably.
This sofa is comfortable regardless if you want to sit, lean back or lie down. The loose back cushions make it easy to adjust the seat depth and the back support.

Ratings and reviews
Questioning quality of seats!!!ChrisOur Slatorp loveseat arrived less than a week ago and we’re having very mixed thoughts!! Here are the positives:
It was easy to assemble and it looks really good. The option of a higher back is perfect if you’re taller, it supports your upper back well. The sofa is firm, but still comfortable. Fabulous.
BUT, and it’s a big negative!!
The seat durability is a 1 star at this time. The seats immediately showed signs of wear after the first sitting. The seat’s surface was stretched and wavy after just one hour. We aren’t heavy and aren’t hard on our furniture. I’m confused that the showroom model looked great, no signs of this type of wear. This is extremely worrisome, since the seats aren’t removable and they are showing this kind of wear within the first day and first week. So disappointing and it’s a tough decision if we’re going to return the loveseat. We love the design and comfort, but the quality doesn’t seem to be up to IKEA’s usual standards.

Nice design but disappointing experienceCharlesI've had the SLATORP loveseat and chaise for about a month now. The design is quite nice and I appreciate the firmness of the cushioning. However, the stitching on the chaise was poorly done and makes an otherwise attractive product look somewhat cheap. They also emit a strong new furniture odor, which hasn't abated even after about a month. I question the durability as well, since even with light use, the fabric seems to stretch quite easily. It's hard to say if it would stand up to heavier use or a family environment.
The delivery experience was also very poor. Very little care was taken and my vintage hardwood floors were damaged by the delivery person's carelessness. I reported this to Ikea and have yet to hear back from them after promises to do so.
In summary, I would give the loveseat and chaise a three star rating and the delivery experience a one star rating, so that's why I've rated it two stars.
