A very low, soft pillow. Back for another, can also use as filling for throw pillowKatrinaLike all rolled pillows it needs initial effort to break it up and fluff. I made the decision to buy a rolled pillow - and this choice is on us buyers. Not Ikea. They don't hide what it is. However, at first I was disappointed in it and thought it was a waste of money. I used it as a stuffing for a 20x20 throw pillow and that was fine. If I needed more inserts I'd have no hesitation in buying this as a softer insert. However, I've changed mattresses. This one I barely need a pillow, and all - ALL other pillows are too high. This and a pillow protector are soft, and wonderful. An age flattened pillow, is usually hard. The Slan is under stuffed, which adds to the softness. With a breathable pillow protector, and effort at the beginning this is a good choice if you need a very low, soft pillow.5
