FlatGabrielaI purchased this pillow for my son who is attending University. We spent a long time picking out the one he wanted and it felt great on the display. When we opened it up it was flat and lumpy! I told him to give it a few hours for it to fill out as it had been compressed in the packaging. It’s been a week and he said it’s the flattest pillow he’s ever used and it hasn’t fluffed up at all. I should have spent the $10 on a Serta Firm Walmart pillow as that’s what he has at home and has lasted years! Much better quality than this one. Very disappointing and it’s the second time I’ve been disappointed by ikea pillows. Returning it is not an option as he’s out of town now and won’t be home for several months. I’ll be shipping him a new pillow this week. This was such a waste of money.1

Just ok TammyI decided to wash it before use as it didn’t come in sealed plastic. The pillow soaked up soooooo much water in the washer but it wouldn’t spin out so I had to hand squeeze all of the water out. It was like when a plastic bag holds water. Eventually it dried but I find it’s a little too “fluffy” for me. I’m not sure if that’s because of the washing process or if it’s just a fluffier pillow. The one on display at the store seemed flatter and I like flatter soft pillows. The rating is because of how annoying it is to wash. 3

Comfortable PillowSheleyThis pillow was for our guest bedroom, and so far the only two people to use it have said it's so comfortable. It is a bit snug in a Queen Pillow Case, but that doesn't seem to matter. It fits. I think for the price, it's a great solution! 5

I am a belly sleeper and these pillows are simply the best. I used to have high pillows for so long and now know the error of my ways for all these years. Brilliant pillow, filling stays put and just the right height for me.

How to care for your polyester pillow

With a little care, you can prolong the life of your polyester pillow and keep it feeling and looking fresh. Use a mild detergent and set your washer on a delicate cycle at 60°C – a temperature that eliminates dust mites. Avoid using bleach and fabric softeners. Polyester pillows can be either air-dried or tumble-dried according to the care instructions. In between washes, air your pillow regularly, if possible, in direct sunlight.
