Product details

This short-handled spatula offers control and precision when scraping batter out of a bowl. It’s also great for smoothing out icing, frosting or whipped cream on cakes, muffins and other baked goods.

The narrow blade makes it easy to reach the corners and edges of the bowl. The blade is rather firm, so you can also use it to divide dough into smaller pieces.

The handle has a comfortable grip and the shape fits nicely in both the left and right hand.

The vibrant green colour makes it easy to find the spatula among other kitchen utensils in the drawer.

Easy to hang up and store by using the hole in the handle.

Perfect for when the whole family wants to bake together since the spatula is easy for children to use.

Ratings and reviews

Not flexible enoughSandraI bought this for a great price to use when baking but unfortunately it is very stiff and hard so it was hard to fully scrape the bowl.2
Wow, small and greatChantalI love the size, it is easy to manoeuvre, to store and great price.5
Limited Use. Not worth it.TinaIt can only be used on cold dishes / items. used it on a warm dish and it started to melt. Too easy for anyone to make this mistake in tge kitchen. Why not make it out of better material to begin with??1
Sturdy Little SpatulaTanyaI love this spatula so much, that I returned to buy two more for my Mom and Mom in law. Its handle is short, making it an ideal tool to scrape electric mixer bowl when making bread. What else can you buy these days under a loonie? Highly recommend.5
Not flexible and hardly scraping anything.DinaUnfortunately not doing what it should, (in my case, scraping mixer bowls). It's very hard, doesn't bend and hardly scraping anything.1
DO NOT USE NEAR HEATJHonestly for 49 cents I should have known better but calling it a spatula and not putting any warning anywhere really sucks. I was making pancakes on a mini Dash pancake maker and used this green spatula to adjust the pancake a little... and it melted onto the heating element like crayon in a microwave! It was a big pain to get it out too.... ugh3
Great ChelseaSolid spatula / not flimsy. would buy again 5
kitchen helperGerrithis item is nice and firm, very useful to get every bit out of the bowl5
IndispensableSandraThis is one of those little kitchen helpers you didn't know you needed until you had it, at which point you can't imagine living without it. Get one ... no, get two or three, because you'll use it every time you bake.5
Love it Anonymous reviewerExcellent tool in the kitchen , good value 5
OkAlisonHonestly thought I’d be using this more than I am. I find it a little too stiff so it is not as practical as I’d thought. I like the size. Green colour is fun.3
spatulla very handyZahiait's handy, large area to scrap - wish it was a little more maliable4
Best little spatulaGurlavineIt’s like an extension of my hand. Great when rolling bread dough out of big bowls onto my work surface. Being a stubby little thing is it’s main strength, who knew?5

Material

What is PE plastic?

PE, or polyethylene, is a versatile plastic with many uses. It can be soft and flexible as well as tough and strong. At IKEA we use PE for things like plastic bags, freezer bags, ice packs and chopping boards. A big reason why we like this plastic is that it can be made from renewable raw materials like corn and sugar cane.
