This frame is ideal to use with ALFTA adhesive hook. With the hook you can easily hang the frame without nails or screws and decorate your walls with pictures.

Can be hung horizontally or vertically to fit in the space available.

The mat is acid-free and will not discolor the picture.

Front protection in plastic makes the frame safer to use.

This frame fits with a picture that has dimensions 21x30 cm if you use it with the mount, and it fits with a picture that has dimensions 31x41 cm if you choose to use the frame without the mount.

Worst IKEA frame I every boughtAnonymous reviewerI have always bought frames from IKEA for prints, original artworks on paper, photos etc. They've always been ideal for the price. I purchased two of these SILVERHÖJDEN frames in the largest size to put posters in. During assembly, the inside pane of plastic was dirty and needed cleaning which I always do before installing the artwork. The damp paper towel I used scratched the plastic badly in the first couple of wipes so I stopped but because I really wanted to frame my posters I continued installing the first picture. When I took of the protective film on the front side of the plastic, the black ink from the recycle symbol had transferred to the plastic pane, not wanting to scratch it further by rubbing, I tried a microfiber cloth to remove the ink, which didn't work. Now the pane is scratched and ruined by packaging ink. I'll be returning these on my next trip to IKEA and choosing frames with glass panes. Unfortunately they'll probably end up in the AS IS and disappoint someone else. I can't believe the poor quality.1

It was the perfect frame for the picture that I had purchase at the Art Fair, it was an odd size and I couldn't fine the right size, this frame was perfect.

Looks really nice for a 8x11 photo. Plastic cover instead of glass makes it lightweight. I would purchase again.

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
