WarpedPhilipIkea make nice designs and engineering is excellent, but quality control is poor. - bottom surface does not fit flat on counter. - drains are nice but require a 1.5" to 1.25" adaptor to fit. (Fernco) Our Ikea bathroom reno was delayed due to waiting on products. 2 mo. after buying the sink, I could finally install it. The sink was placed on an ÄNGSJÖN vanity with Tolken counter. The counter was cut out to fit the sink. It did not sit flat. It was warped. I thought it was quality control (as per the other reviews) so I went back to Ikea and bought 3 more with the cunning plan to select the best of the four. It was another bad idea. The first sink was from Turkey and had an excellent ceramic glazed coating on the top and bottom. The three newer sinks were from China and shaped differently. underneath. These had a less-white tint and the bottoms were not glazed. They did not fit the hole. I just used the warped Turkish one work with shims as it seemed the "least-worse".3

Beautiful bathroom sink.PatriciaI love this sink. It blends in seamlessly in an old farmhouse. The one problem is the drain connection from 1.25 to 1.50 required several plumbing hours from our contractor.5
Casting is not straight!TonyI am usually quite satisfied with IKEA products but unfortunately my sink had a casting defect. Using two different levels with straight edges, I found that the outer bottom edge was just ever so slightly lower than the rest of the sink. So when I opened the top drawer, it would hit that bottom edge. Bit of a hassle as you're instructed to caulk the sink down during install, which makes returning a pain. Amazing sink otherwise. Check your sink if you decide to go with this one!3
