Perfect for home office!AMANDAPerfect for home office!5
Great desktop padCharlesMy wristwatch, and other things like a keyboard and coffee cups were starting to scratch my black Bekant sit-stand desk that I have used at my home office for the past two years, so I was looking for and found in Rissla the perfect pad to protect the desktop and look very clean and professional. It was nice that it was inexpensive and was delivered in 3 days.5

Dining room table protection!laurenSince the beginning of the pandemic, we’ve had to move our offices home... this desk blotter protects out hardwood dining room table from scratches and ink marks from the day to day work habits in a stylish way.5
Works great!MARISABELWorks great!5
Perfect when newMike from North YorkThese are very nice in both size and comfort but I have to question the quality. The faux leather synthetic material is not very durable. Wiping it with a damp cloth if left on for prolonged periods will cause the surface to rise. Don't put drinks of any temperature on it or it will bubble up. I'm still going to give it a fairly positive review for that since it is mostly user error but just thought I'd mention it is not very forgiving in that regard.3
added bonusJTJorgyReally happy with the desk pad for my current working from home situation. It has a lip that holds the pad nicely in place - very happy with the size and quality.5

Looks amazing, horrible durability.jb1983I got this pad a week ago for use on my desk at home. After about 2 hours of using it (lightly, nothing crazy), the top of it ripped from me putting my laptop down on it. My laptop is not a heavy one. I'm very disappointed in this product given its cost. I would not recommend with its current cover's fragility.1
Adequate desk protectionTheAnonymasRoyalThis is a solid finish to your work spot. After a week of usage, there are now clear parallel blemishes appearing more prominent in the top, visible with reflecting light. I suspect they are from the manufacturing process - maybe from feed wheels or grips in a forming machine - perhaps light exposure from a lubricant that can be cleaned.... but it doesn't matter. The pad is saving my desk from certain damage from endless hours at my workstation plodding world domination and crafting heavy electronic music. The side bar to conceal password scribble on paper scraps and hide innappropriate photopgraphs is very handy - an unexpected bonus. Well done, Ikea!!4
Not as good as it looksAnonymous reviewerI am sure most of these reviews are based on a month of use, Mine felt great and was the perfect pad for me but started peeling off down the road, It's made of cheap cheap leather like material.1
Looks greatcomeaujoThe only issues I have with this product are: 1. It does not fit well with a HEMNES desk collection. It is just deep enough to overlap with the hole in the desk that collects cords so the desk pad needs to be situated to the left instead of centered. 2. There is a metal backing to the desk pad which keeps it rigid but unfortunately this interferes with the blue tooth signal for mouse and keyboard if you have such wireless products. It's pretty annoying so you're better off with USB connected desktop devices if possible. 3. I have no idea what the flap is for. Seems useless and will bump into most computer monitors if they are sitting on the same desk unless the stand is high enough. All in all does not seem to be a well thought out product to be compatible with other IKEA products or common electronics.3
Sturdy and versatileIsabellaKNot only doesn it enhance the overall look of the desk, it also protects the surface and serves as a mousepad.5
desk padexcited shopperThis desk pad fits my computer desk like a glove . love it no slipping5

JHCNvery good quality and fits well for big desk. like the feather look and the bent front edge that keeps it in place as well as the flap on the side that can hold loose paper in place.5

Material

What is steel?

Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.
