Material is Too Thin. Fine if You Don’t Know BetterDaryleBought six and compared to my older towels from another store, these IKEA ones are too thin. The material needs to be twice as thick to absorb more water when drying dishes by hand. Unless you’ve had better quality, you’d think these are OK. 3
Tea towelVaniWorth for the money good quality.5
Terrible Tea Towels.DorisReally poor quality tea towels! They are not at all absorbent.1
Great when prepping mealsCatherineAlways have one of these tucked in my apron to wipe up anything, including hands, while making meals…and they wash up beautifully…5
Hatice HaticeThese towels don't absorb water 😞💦1
Great fabric and colour but too smallJaniceI love the fabric and quality, and the stripes are super cute but way too small. I feel they are the size of a dinner napkin not a tea towel.2
Great Lobster BibsLeeI bought these to make lobster bibs. They worked very well.5
TeatowelsAndrewExcellent value for cost.... dry well... and wash well5

Tea towelsSusanDry without lint but do need ironing very wrinkly.5
What?UmerI was using this to clean my toilet and it got dirty. I tried to wash it off with another one of these towels, but then that one also got dirty and the chain reaction kept going on until all of them were dirty and they were unusable.1
Great productDonna2nd order5
Best Deal In TownGingerThis obsession with microfibre is a mass delusion. It moves moisture around, it does not absorb. Cotton sucks up moisture. So, I was really glad to find these for a very fair price. Which is not always easy when synthetics are dirt cheap. Nice to see great products at great prices. I also bought the Hildegun towels. They are thinner but very nice and soft.5
Best tea-towel everMaryLove them. Cotton makes them absorbent and quick to dry. Perfect size for drying dishes.5
Simple look and quick dryLisa4 in a pack is great value, they look good, and wash well.5
Very water absorbentCindyThese are great tea towels, all cotton and very water absorbent. They wash well and keep their shape.5

Material

What is cotton?

Cotton is one of the world's most appreciated and used natural fibres. Textiles in cotton are soft, hardwearing and can be washed at high temperatures. They are also good at breathing and absorbing moisture – making them pleasant to wear close to the body. Today at IKEA we use more and more recycled cotton and strive to make sure that all the new cotton we use has been grown and produced with less and less amounts of pesticides, fertilizers and water.
