Ratings and reviews

Simple designAmirThe teapot has a good minimalistic design, easy to use, easy to wash, and makes good tea. Unfortunately mine broke after a couple of weeks due to a small impact to the corner of it's base with the countertop. But at least the whole thing did not shatter and mess was easy to clean up.4
Quality has gone downhill! Thin glass, easily breaks.FrancescaWe used to love this teapot, bought our first one about 6 years ago and replaced it a couple times because we ended up accidentally dropping it or something. In the past year or so we’ve had to buy 2 or 3 because they’ve broken so easily. The last one we got, the glass even felt thinner and the lid didn’t fit properly on top and it broke so easily. We won’t be buying any more of them- may as well spend a bit more on one that will last a bit longer!2
Great Teapot for cold brewGarechI bought this for cold brew. Easy instructions online how to make it using a course grind. My only complaint is that there are NO instructions on how to take the top off to get at the filter. Had to come to the review section to understand that it is a push down and twist. Thanks to that reviewer .. took 1 star off for the lack of instructions4
Perfect!RandallPicked it up in the section of the store where the orphans go. Great discount price! Good deal. Stylish and works well for my needs.5

FantasticSamanPerfect for one to two people, keep the tea warm for more time than others.5
Beautiful teapotGaetanGreat teapot, works well. The middle lid could use a better design to make it easy to grip to open or close.5
The only teapots for our family.OlehIt's been at least 12 years we are using these teapots, occasionally braking and replacing them. Great quality.5
QualityKosarThis teapot is very delicate, yet sturdy and beautiful.very good quality5
Stylish Teapot, But the Mesh Falls Short for Fine Loose-Leaf TeasPamodhThis teapot has a sleek design and the built-in mesh is convenient in theory, but it struggled with finer loose-leaf teas. I used premium Ceylon loose-leaf tea with small, pliable leaves (just a few millimetres in size), and a noticeable amount of leaf particles leaked through the mesh into the glass bottom of the teapot. Because of this, it seems better suited to larger or more tightly rolled tea leaves. The lid will become a bit loose after some usage. On the positive side, it's very stylish and the pot does a good job of retaining heat, keeping the tea warm for around 15–20 minutes. Overall, it’s decent for heat retention and ease of use, but the mesh could be finer to handle higher-quality or smaller loose-leaf teas more effectively.3
Good quality for its priceSnizhanaExceeded my expectations in terms of how long it keeps the tea warm. I love everything about this teapot.5

Gathering pot SanaI like the size and the look. Perfect for a tea gathering or after a meal , and multiple use too. 5
Perfect sizePatI really like this tea pot. It made 2 perfect cups. I love that the filter is right there when you need it.5
Missing a handle on the tea strainerErinoverall, very good pot, however it's a design ~mistake~ to forget to add the small handle on the tea strainer to aid in removal to dispose of the tea leaves. The addition of this handle could be DIY'd with some food grade wire, but, it really should be present.4
Very good potOlexandrGot second like this. Good volume. Lightweight. Easy to wash. Very convenient. 5
affordable and good qualityFarahnazI suggest this teapot for brewing tea 5
Great little loose tea potWilliamWorks exactly as expected, makes 2 cups easily. Only complaint is it's not easy getting the used tea leaves out when cleaning.4

A better everyday one cup at a time

Have you had coffee or tea today? Statistically, you most likely have. In fact, these hot brews are the most consumed beverages in the world next after water. They’re a part of life that can give a silver lining to any moment. That’s why we decided to update our selection of products to make that perfect cup – from the tea infuser and the kettle to the milk frother.

Malin Ljungström, who was involved in developing the range, shares her insights. “To many, the smell of coffee and tea means well-being and a homey feeling. Since we want to improve people’s everyday, we’re offering products that make it possible for more to experience more feelgood moments at home.”

Developing things that make a difference

Malin and her colleagues dug deep into coffee and tea cultures to find out what tools people feel they can’t live without. They talked to specialists and investigated living, eating and drinking habits. “We wanted to develop items that make a difference, so we’ve focused on a few, but carefully selected products,” she states. The team cooperated with IKEA Test Lab in Älmhult, Sweden. It’s an IKEA version of a James Bond lab where prototypes are inspected and evaluated. “A couple of the things we checked were that the thermoses can keep fluids really warm for a long time. And that the glass mugs and glass pots are durable and comfortable, even though they look and feel light and airy,” says Malin.

For all tastes and different wallets

No matter how you enjoy your cup, you’ll find the things that put an extra flavor to your drink in the range. Another good thing is that there’s something for all wallets. “It’s one of our contributions to a better life at home. A way to improve people’s everyday one cup at a time,” concludes Malin.
