I love this so much more than expected. At night when a side lamp is just a bit too bright, the light and this shade give the loveliest cozy glow. It's also a great focal point. Yes it's made of paper but it's also 5 bucks! This and some twinkle lights and you've got atmosphere.5

Can't believe it's only 5$!Drea0607I have this shade hanging over my dining room table, it was very easy to install and looks fabulous, this shade is a steal. It takes some maneuvering to get the bulb centred but there's a metal wire to thread the cable through. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.5
piper123Looks nice for the price. However, there was no instructions on how to assemble the lamp, suspend the cord and light bulb. Since it's made of rice paper, centering the lamp is critical. Also the cord and lamp housing we purchased didn't come with a switch. Since it's going directly into a power bar I will have to install a switch on the cord myself. IKEA please include instructions and a switch next time.4
Looks Great!by AllieI bought it a few days ago and I am very pleased with the light distribution, color and shape. It looks really great! It was so easy to assemble = immediate satisfaction. It is in the kitchen as a temporary solution while we design a different lighting plan. Although I really like it, I would not use it permanently in the kitchen as it is made of paper: over time grease may build up, dust particles will accumulate and it may not resist to the humid environment (steam from cooking). Naturally, it is not washable. I like it so much if it continues to be in good condition after its time in the kitchen I would like to find a place to use it in another area of the house.5
