A very nice bed!AndrewThis is a lovely, very stylish bed—especially when it's paired with the matching nightstand. Beyond its good looks, I appreciated that there's an upper and lower configuration for the bed slats and for the headboard, to accommodate mattresses of various thicknesses. Steps 7–13 of the assembly—joining the side rails to the end panels—were physically very demanding, requiring significant force, unlike anything else I've assembled from IKEA. I suppose I could've been doing something wrong (although I usually follow instructions meticulously). The effort was well worth it; I'm very happy with my new bed!
Wooden Pegs Don't FITAndrewI've just spent two hours trying to attach the side panels to the front panel. This should have taken 5 minutes at most, but the wooden pegs are too big for the holes! I had to whittle the pegs down 4 times before they would fit...and even then they barely fit. I've been buying and putting together IKEA furniture together for 30 years...but after today's experience, I'm done.
