Easy and quick to assemble since the design reduces the number of assembly steps and fittings.

With the foldable construction, you mount the frame in its intended space from the start, so you avoid heavy lifting when moving the piece of furniture once it´s assembled.

The frame is mounted upright and from the front, so you manage with less floor space and a lower ceiling height when you put together your furniture.

The frame must be mounted to the wall with the included rail.

Perfect where space is limited since the frame is narrow.

If you want to organize inside you can complement with interior organizers from the KOMPLEMENT series.

Adjustable feet make it possible to compensate for any irregularities in the floor.

Two people are needed to assemble this furniture.

Different wall materials require different types of fasteners. Use fasteners suitable for the walls in your home.

The frame can be assembled in an upright position if your ceiling height is a minimum of 79½". Follow the assembly instructions in the package.

If you want to complete your PAX frame with a sliding door, the minimum ceiling height required is 80¾".

When assembling a corner storage solution, start with the corner add-on unit. This is necessary in order to be able to attach all required parts to PAX foldable wall-mounted storage frame in the next step.

For PAX foldable wall-mounted storage frame, leave a distance of 6,3 cm/2.5" from the wall/corner when attaching the wall rail. For a solution with an add-on corner unit, leave 19,3 cm/7.6".

May be completed with SKUBB storage case 65x53x19 cm which is dimensioned for this wardrobe frame.

PAXKevinThe PAX wardrobe now comes with the flimsy backing glued on. When trying to remove it carefully it ripped a couple chunks off of the sides and left a lot of difficult to remove glue chunks on the back. The secure to wall information was unclear and shallow clips that won't do much. I have purchased, installed and use PAX many times before and have always been happy. This new version is not an improvement.3

It is mounted and built as you go on the wall not something you build from the ground and lift up. Very happy with my purchase. Where we put it we needed sliding doors. Difficult to install Anonymous reviewerHave bought this exact same frame a few years ago and this new version is hard to install if you follow IKEA’s assembly instructions. You are better off checking YouTube. Also I ordered two of these for same wardrobe and received two different versions of it with a few different hardware.3

New design is not goodDeanThe glue on back panel is very poor. Upon Assemble the back panel split from the wall. Being 5 hrs away from ikea I could not return so I had to make do and repair myself. 1
Where is the Quality Control?HaiBought 5 units total and 2/5 had issues out of box with holes predrilled at the wrong spot on the back board. I had to drill new holes on my own in order to fit the plastic anchors. Unbelievable...1
Terrible new design BrookThe new 2024 design it terrible compared to the previous version of the pax wardrobe. The all in one backer and sides is a bad design. It is also very difficult to get the doors to hang straight.1
