Measure before buyingAnonymous reviewerI bought this at the store on impulse, specifically hoping I could use it to store a roll of paper towels under my kitchen cabinets, only to discover it's slightly too long to fit on my kitchen shelves and also slightly too short to accommodate a paper towel roll. Maybe it's designed to fit IKEA cabinets? Does IKEA sell special paper towels that fit this thing?
Misleading product imageryLindsayI wish I had read the reviews, because I got caught in the trap others mentioned — this thing is far too short for a standard paper towel roll, despite the images and instructions for use included. I'm going to have to return it, which is disappointing; besides the blatantly misleading images included, it's a very well-designed and nice looking product. I noticed the website seems to leave out any mention of it being a paper towel holder now, despite that being why I saved it to my wishlist a while ago, and bought it in-store. Perhaps the sizing problem has been brought up often enough? To be clear: the site seems to no longer refer to this product as a paper towel holder, but the in-store imagery, packaging, and instructions do. That said, this is the first time I've ever been disappointed with an Ikea product, and it would work very well if the size wasn't an issue.
too short for paper towels SusieI wanted to love this so badly but it's just too short for any rolls of paper towel to fit into. and I hate how on the box there's a picture of hanging paper towels cause that's super misleading.

It may work for wine glasses, but it shouldn't be marketed as a paper towel holder. Clearly, no one actually tested it. Luckily, I'm really close to Ikea so I will return it. But what a hassle.

The package is misleading....!RI bought two, today, I have a "difficult" spot, I bought one for the glass holder, ...works great! I bought the other one for the "Suggested" Paper towel holder...NO to that idea... first issue, not long enough for a paper towel roll, ..and ... there is not enough space vertically between the bar on top and the part that is supposed to hold it, there is no way it would even turn, let alone, to even hold an, almost empty roll of paper towel! so if your buying for a wine glass holder, go for it, if your buying for a paper towel holder, keep looking!
