You can choose from many different covers to give your sofa the style you like – from the colourful and modern to the muted and traditional.

The cover doesn’t need to be removed when you change the function from sofa to bed, and back again.

Made of a soft dope-dyed polyester fabric with a slight texture and a two-toned melange effect.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and can be machine washed.

Machine wash warm, normal cycle.

Do not tumble dry.

Iron medium temperature, max 300°F/150°C.

Dry clean any solvent except trichloroethylene.

Close the hook and loop fastener before washing.

Safety and compliance

This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 55,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5-6 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

Different prices for same cover, just because it is a different color. $70 extra for the dark color cover .... oouch couch. $50 for the light color, $120 for the dark color .... ooouch.4

Fits discontinued BEDDINGE sofa bed (better!)AnonymousI used the BEDDINGE sofa bed as a bed for three years, and for the past three years it has been my dedicated sofa. Unfortunately, the cover of my BEDDINGE had started to wear out. When I went to buy a replacement, I found out the BEDDINGE had been discontinued. IKEA employees (through email and phone) told me they did not sell anything that would fit. I'm here to chime in with other reviewers and say that this fits the BEDDINGE, and fits possibly better than the actual cover! I found the BEDDINGE cover misshapen and lumpy, and the corners of the cover didn't quite fit the corners of the mattress, so you'd get bulges and it looked kind of sloppy. This fits tight, like a glove. I also like the material better. This looks more like a real couch and less like a futon. Much classier and cleaner looking. I am thinking of buying another one, lest this product be discontinued by the time my current one wears out!5
