Slips way too muchLindaThe topper slips way too much, sometimes pretty much off the bed. We’ve tried putting gripping cloth underneath and it still slips. The older version was much better. 3

A bit firm.... not as cushioning as I would have likedThereseBut maybe I am asking too much from a mattress topper. It was VERY firm the first 48 hrs but has softened a bit. I have it in an encasement, so that it's very clean if I need to return it. I have a Haugsvar mattress, and I like it but it's firm, even 5 yrs on. My last topper flattened out, so I needed a new one. I hate memory foam, so this was the best alternative for me. The cover is well made. Just not sure about the firmness. It is very difficult to find plain foam toppers now, everyone is selling latex or memory or gel. My biggest gripe, though, is the price, Ikea. It's a bit pricey!4
Topper light!GunnarThe topper is too light and moves around on the mattress. The older models were better.3
Comfortable but creases and moves aroundStellaComfortable mattress topper, but it doesn't stay in place. It gets big creases when you lay on it and moves around. After a night of sleep it is tugging off the fitted sheet and hanging over the side of the mattress below it. It needs to be smoothed out and repositioned often. What a hassle. Disappointing given how much it cost, and that issue could have potentially been solved by adding elastic hook over bands at the corners to secure it to the mattress below. Why was this not properly tested before it was sold in stores?2
ComfyBrigitaGot it as a topper for an air mattress and it makes it feel like a real bed, love it! It does smell a bit, but it will air out eventually.5
Missing TistedalMichaelThis is okay, but it's like almost all mattress toppers: Great for a while then your body is looking for something better. Ikea used to make a topper called Tistedal. I still have a double one on a bed, and if I want a good nights sleep (guaranteed) I go sleep on that, much to the display of my wife. What I'm looking for: Something slim, not too cushiony, something that's cooling. Tistedal was expensive > 500CDN but well worth it.2
