It’s a shape that’s used throughout the series, from chairs to tables. “The frame gives NÄMMARÖ a uniform and contemporary look. It’s also modular thinking that simplifies the production and lowers the cost. And since NÄMMARÖ doesn’t have any curved shapes, the products are easy to pack in flat packages.” It contributes to a lower price and saves valuable space during transport – all the way from the factory to the customer’s home.

Care
The best way to extend the life of your wooden outdoor furniture is by cleaning it regularly and not leaving it outdoors unprotected more than necessary.
Clean: Use a mild soapy solution. Wipe dry with a clean dry cloth.
Maintenance: To prevent the surface from drying out and cracking, and moisture from penetrating into the wood, we recommend you to re-stain the furniture on a regular basis, for example once or twice a year.
Storing: If possible, store in a cool dry place indoors. If the furniture is stored outside, cover it with a waterproof cover. After a rain or snowfall, wipe off excess water or snow from flat surfaces. Allow air to circulate to avoid condensation.
To increase the stability of your furniture, re-tighten the screws at least once per season.

This year I purchased 2 Nammaro stools that I am using as side tables.
They are the perfect height and are sturdy so not to get blown around

The color of the stools is slightly lighter and more yellowish compared to the chairs. But I plan to stain them to match later in the season.

Almost perfect. Just difficult to collapse for storage.DavidIt's a great chair/outdoor table for the price. There's some roughness to the touch in the wood but no danger of splinters. The height is good as a side table or stool. The only issue is it's difficult to collapse again for storage. The legs lock in place under the table top with dowels and a plastic tab. It's quite difficult to push the tab far enough to get the leg frame past it and the dowels out to then fold up the stool.
Almost PerfectRobertaWe are using this to be able to sit lower when looking in cupboards etc. It's well made, looks nice, good quality, but we are hoping the mechanism to fold it up loosens up after some use. It is very hard to collapse the stool.

Not like they used to beDeborahI ordered 2 recently to add to my set existing 2 (bought 4yr ago) and the size and even stain colour is completely different and does not Match. Product photos shows a darker stain, the ones I received are a light oak colour!! Why ikea???

Change in colour!RonWe purchased one of these side tables (marketed as a stool) to add to the patio furnishings and matching wood decking squares we had previously purchased at Ikea only to find that the stain colour has been changed! Very disappointing. We had plans to buy more chairs as well but will now have to return this item and look elsewhere for something that goes with what we already have. The reddish brown stain colour these items used to be (a stain which was also available in cans for doing touch-ups) was much nicer looking than this blah-brown. It's frustrating to find that what one has been collecting has been changed.
