It’s a shape that’s used throughout the series, from chairs to tables. “The frame gives NÄMMARÖ a uniform and contemporary look. It’s also modular thinking that simplifies the production and lowers the cost. And since NÄMMARÖ doesn’t have any curved shapes, the products are easy to pack in flat packages.” It contributes to a lower price and saves valuable space during transport – all the way from the factory to the customer’s home.

I’ve had to put this on a table and wrap the whole balcony with twine to secure it while also weighting the base with bags of soil, bricks and a giant beam. There is currently no good substitute at IKEA for a balcony user that needs height. Bring back the older model

Perfect pet gate for a narrow doorwayJenniferWe have a narrow doorway to our utility room that we wanted to keep open for airflow but prevent the cats from going into the room. This fits perfectly in the space and is tall enough that the cats can't jump over it. It's heavy enough that they can't move it, but not too heavy for us humans to move. :)

beautiful grain finish, just wish it was sturdierFelixI use this as an indoor screen divider and get lots of compliments about it. It looks expensive, only the plastic black tubing somewhat demystified that. It is not very sturdy however and could see it easily knocked down even indoors. This could be secured if you were diy savvy with heavier footing reinforcement or bolting to a wall. Assembly was challenging. I had to grease the screws/bolts with linseed oil.
