InstallTroyBe sure the wall you are installing on has the correct stud spacing. It is too heavy for a wall anchor. I was lucky, I had previously sheeted my wall with plywood, so I had lots of anchoring g points.
High sides are the best!GerardWe decided to add only the high sides to our drawers, instead of the lower ones that come with them standard. Returning the unused ones was no problem. So, for a couple of extra dollars we have no items tumbling out of our drawers. Recommended to everyone!
Glass panels for Maxima drawerGrantGlass was easy to install as we had already installed the cabinet drawers. Installed in all regular size drawers with no issue. Only issue is under sink which is a shorter drawer - IKEA does not have a glass panel for this one and I wish they did!

NecessaryAnonymous reviewerThis is a necessary item that should have come as part of the drawer package but is being sold as a separate item add on to maximize revenue. The reason I say this is because THERE IS NO REASON THAT ANYONE WOULD PREFER TO HAVE A DRAWER WITH NO SIDES TO IT which allows items to move or fall to the side, fall off the drawer platform or get caught on the cabinet sides when using the drawer. I figured this out after I installed the drawers and began using them so now these items can no longer be included in my kitchen promo package for discount. Now I have to travel back to the store to go and buy them at full cost just to make my drawers complete with actual sides on them. I was not made aware of this item at the time of my design and purchase. The staff should be making a point of mentioning this to customers when the deep drawers are purchased.

Drawer side panelsDeniseThese were purchased as part of our new kitchen reno, I was unsure how installing glass panels would go. Install straightforward as long as I followed online video I found. As with most Ikea products, they fit very well and have worked very well in the 4 months since installation. Recommend having towels / cushioning on the floor while assembling. Very solid & sturdy product.

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
