Great valueBrittFor the price point, so far this couch has been a great purchase. I won’t sugar coat things: this couch is $400. It’s great for a small apartment. This couch looks great from the front. I would recommend it for back to wall placement because the back looks a bit cheap, with a more obvious fabric cover drape. Mine is in the middle of the room. It’s fine, but it keeps it looking its cost- cheap. It is very firm. I like firm. The back cushions give enough softness so it’s not uncomfortable. As for the material- it is a corduroy. I do feel like it shows dust and hair and typically use my handheld vacuum on it to keep it looking nice. I have yet to wash the covers- I have to say that it doesn’t feel like it will be particularly easy to do. There is a small amount of disassembling that needs to happen to remove the covers.5
