Måla Easel assembles easily but needs better manualLynetteManual should warn on 1st instruction, not to use drill. Manual should suggest screw-in objects all be done while the two main halves rest on a flat surface, then connect and link them. If done as instructed, you are potentially screwing in at an angle, possibly splitting wood. Everything screws in very well if done on a flat surface instead. Also, caution that paper roll should have paper coming from back. I'd love it if one side were magnetic too; maybe make it an option?

So, we rolled up our sleeves and tweaked several important details. After that, we asked some parents what they thought of the prototype. Their input helped us make the easel even smarter.
“Through the years, we’ve got some comments on the easel. For example, that the paper roll was difficult to roll up, and that it was complicated to fold up and store away the easel,” tells Jorge Omar Santoyo Henaine, who works with product development at Children’s IKEA.

But they thought it should be on both sides so two children can draw and paint at the same time.
