Great Minimalistic Style!JulieThese gold frames are a nice, simple style that can work in any room, anywhere. I bought several, on sale and wish I had of picked up a few more. The gold coloring blends well in my home that has brushed brass and titanium, (sometimes it is hard to know in the store lighting).
I love my finished projects with these frames but the Lomviken do not receive top marks from me. The clips on the back to hold the photos in are a nightmare and constantly turn, slip and slide out of place. The backing hooks to hang the pictures are also not ideal and more difficult to work with than most.
A great frame when on sale but not my pick at full price.
I WILL watch to see what Ikea replaces this clearance frame with because a gold metal frame like this is a classic.5

Acrylic breaks easilyWhitneyLove the frame, but the acrylic “glass” cracks/scratches easily. Is there a way to buy a replacement?3
Scratches Too EasilyKyleThese frames are attractive and modern looking but unfortunately the plastic "glass" is not at all scratch resistant so you can't clean it. Warm water and a clean high quality microfiber cloth with very little application pressure still managed to produce such a haze of fine scratches, it looks terrible. It's disappointing.2

Good for the value but no glass protection.KarlThe frame seems solid. My only downside is that there isn't a glass protection for the picture/certificate that I intended to use it for. So I just used the flimsy acrylic plane that it did come with(had to rub off the recycling marks with isopropyl and you can still see it from upclose).
Maybe even if the flimsy Glass had no recycling watermark I would give it a higher score.3
