Lohals door mat TraceyWe purchased 2 of the door mats and a runner. We love them in our mudroom, very durable for high traffic. I just suggest to keep the height in mind regarding doors. These are thick mats and had to be moved over to allow our closet doors to open.5

Not bad!JohnThe loops are quite large - which is good as it gives grip and scrubbing action. They aren't that strong though, as a number of them have been pulling up. Also, you will want to leave it somewhere not in your house for a week or so as it stinks of rubber for quite a while! Maybe I'm just going nose-blind to it. If you like new tire smell you're good though. ;)4

Material

What is jute?

Jute is a very hardwearing fibre that is found in the stem of the jute plant. It’s an easy-to-grow plant that requires very little fertilizer, pesticides or water and is ready to harvest after only 120 days. The jute fibre is often used for ropes and sacks but is also known for its silky-smooth lustre and can be spun into finer threads which are then woven. In our range we often use woven jute for items like curtains, rugs and furniture.
