They love to pull all the things out of it, to put their heads in the handle and wear it around - it has velcro so there is no choking hazard. if this holds up this well with the vigorous play of two kittens I think it is safe to say they are pretty indestructable. If your kid likes to play "shopping" or "restaurant" or just pretend kitchen, this toy is nice and less plastic, doesn't make noise. I liked the purple eggplant toy.
