The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This fabric's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 30,000 cycles. A fabric that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.

Cushion misshapen after four monthsAnonymous reviewerAlmost to the day of its four months anniversary, the top of one of the back cushions has completely caved in, starting from the middle seam. The material inside migrated downwards in the front and back, resulting in big bulges on both sides, and a concave/collapsed top. Two normal adults here, it gets very normal use. Never have I seen a couch cushion do that! It looks like someone dropped an ACME anvil on it. The cushion cover cannot be opened to even go in there and attempt to fix or replace it. Terrible construction. Utterly gutted tee spent so much money on an item that couldn’t survive a summer of minimal to average use. Until this happened, I would’ve given the couch a solid 3.5 stars, but this drops it down to a 1 for me. Very regretful, and it’s becoming a theme with our IKEA purchases.1
Overpriced and Poorly MadeIanI’ve owned this couch for only a year. A thin wood panel inside popped off and needed repairs. The couch has had to be disassembled multiple times to address incessant squeaking when sitting. The fabric has pilled heavily, and one of the foam cushions is deformed near the seam in the middle, with no way to fix it as the cushions and cover are not removable.
This couch is regularly used by two average-sized adults only. No children or pets use it, no one sleeps on it, and it experiences an average amount of use.
While the couch is comfortable, it is overpriced for its quality, and I regret my purchase. The warranty replacement process is a hassle, especially given the short lifespan of this couch so far.2
