Not recommended RoyaI bought two of them for my living room and installed them by very strong glue but after I realized that they showed short and wide . I made a big mistake with trusting with the quality. I have to broken them down to get removed from wall. Big hassle 1
Good size mirror. Bare essentials.MUsed heavy-duty 3M commander strips to mount to the door. Also used a drop of superglue on each strip for peace of mind. Thank you Ikea for options like this.5

No Mounting ScrewsAndrewDecent reflection and its particular shape and length fulfill the requirements of niche spaces. But the mirror does not come with mounting screws--only brackets--and the process of hanging the mirror properly may be tricky. I did not bother to mount this mirror and it sits on a peripheral counter in my mother's en suite bathroom where it does the job.3

I love the mirrorJenniferI truly do love the mirror. Amazing price for the quality. HOWEVER, one of the very first steps was the absolute hardest, it took way too long and was way more difficult than it needed to be, I have blisters on my thumbs. The product didn’t come with screws? Not sure how a mirror is supposed to hang on the wall without screws. In the instructions it stated that a drill wasn’t necessary… again how is a mirror supposed to hang on the wall without screws drilled into the wall to hold it? The mirror is gorgeous and I do like the hardware is comes with to install on the wall (would’ve been nice coming with screws though) took about an hour to install amongst two people.5

It’s reflective, just no barriers which is fine. The cardboard has the mirror outline in it making it easier to hang up! Great product

What is mirror glass?

Mirror glass comprises mostly of ordinary glass with a reflective coating in some kind of metal. In the past it was common for the coating to contain lead or mercury – but over time, both of these metals have been shown to be harmful to people and the environment. That’s why, as of several years ago, IKEA has a total ban on using lead or mercury in our mirrors and instead it is non-toxic silver or aluminium that reflects your mirror image.
