Best non-stick coating I've ever experienced!RaniThe non-stick coating is really great, first time I've experienced one this good! Eggs just slides off easily! Highly recommend following the instructions (including no sudden heat changes, start with low heat, no dishwasher, no sharp or metal utensils). So far I've been following the instructions carefully and it's still in great condition. Of course, as with all non-stick pans, it will likely not last forever. But for the time it is usable the non-stick coating will be really great. Oh and be careful with the base of the handle, where the metal part is, that can get really hot. tl;dr: great non-stick coating, follow instructions carefully.5

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
