Kajplats smart good quality at reasonable priceCraigI bought the smart bulb (colour/white spectrum) to use in a small lamp in remote corner of room. Paired with the ikea remote it is easy to run from across the room and change colours. So far it has been reliable and responds quickly to remote.
Works well with Google Home, but color not working?Pier-AlexandreI have three lightbulbs in my house and they mostly work properly. About a week after being installed, the ones in my living room lost their color wheel in Google Home and only the temperature color could be changed. The one in the bedroom is still working properly. I contacted Google with this issue, but hopefully IKEA will also update things so this issue gets resolved promptly.
Hard to pairAngelaOnce I got them paired with my Google Home, they worked, but the only way I could get them paired was to use the code. The QR code did not work nor did turning the light on and off make them go into pairing mode. I probably wouldn’t buy them again, because once they were off it took the System a while to find them again the next day. I imagine they work seamlessly with the Ikea hub, but they are promoted as a matter over thread to be able to work with other hubs so that’s what I would expect.
