This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

Comfy (but a time-consuming build)EmilyThe couch feels great - love sitting and napping on it. But building it took two of us (who are good at this stuff) FOUR hours, not including getting all the cardboard ready for disposal. That’s a huge project itself! So it’s a very large task. Definitely feels overpriced considering you have to attach the fabric, which can get tricky on the bases in particular. (And Ikea also missed a spot with the Velcro, which hopefully doesn’t cause us too many issues.) It also feels quite large because of the width of the arms — definitely takes over the space. But again, quite comfortable. Should probably cost 30% less though considering what it puts the consumer through in terms of labour. (Like, the fabric?? Really??!) But if you’re physically strong and have the patience, the flexibility of this product is definitely exceptional.3
