Great for layeringJordanI love the texture - more or less what I expected since it's cotton. Kind of rough, but not stiff, nice and breathable, and the weave feels great for me on a sensory level. I use this instead of a top sheet with my comforter in the winter and plan to use it by itself in the summer. Great too for layering the spring when the temperature can't decided what it wants to be. Good quality and durability (it's lasted several washes, cycles in the dryer, and cats hooking their claws into it and still looks good as new - though note I wash all my clothes and bedding on a cold delicate cycle). I bought both the natural and green colours and would happily buy more if other colours were added.
Thin thin thinShannonI have 3other of these blankets from maybe 2010 - pink, navy and light brown. They are way thicker, sturdier and warmer than this thin see-thru napkin. Such a CHEAP blanket. Really IKEA - of you are part of the WEF then make things thicker like you use too so I don’t need to replace this blanket every few years. The ones from 2010 are still very much thick and warm in comparison. Disappointed.

Perfect for my dogMarleyI use this on my bed as a blanket for my dog to lay on. It’s the perfect barrier and because it’s cotton, it doesn’t overheat him. I wash it every week and it’s holding up great. Some slight shrinkage and my dogs nails have caught it a couple times. For $20 you can’t go wrong. I bought another in yellow!
Beautiful and comfortableDahliaI use this more as a blanket than a bedspread. It’s comfortable and I love the size. Colour and pattern are super cute. Very easy to throw in the wash.

Longevity, reasonably priced and easy careKristiinaFifteen years, six cats, numerous play tents, ubiquitous couch covers and picnic blankets later; my last of three Indira coverlets finally tore and is not salvageable. They have always washed up well in cold water and because of their size, I only dry one at time in the dryer, a relatively minor inconvenience. I just purchased two, green/grey and natural. The price was less than the purchase fifteen years ago and as a result the weave is not as thick or sturdy as the originals and I know the longevity will not be there but they look just as good and cover more of my couch than the first three did. The cats did not miss a beat, they burrowed in and immediately clawed a comfortable space. One of my best IKEA purchases ever!

OkAmyLooked like good quality, but the weave is quite loose and many pulls just from a few weeks of use. We do have a medium dog who hangs out on the bed sometimes, so maybe not great if you have animals.
Easy care bedspread Theresa I have pets who sleep on my bed so I need bedspreads that I can wash frequently and easily. These Indira bedspreads are 100% cotton and wash well and hold their colour and shape through many launderings. I’ve bought them for years and have a few in different colours. They’re also nice to layer with other blankets and duvets. Great product.
