Short edge is imperfectLolli3.5 stars is more accurate. I wish I had known that the shorter edges of this mirror's frame - that is, the top and bottom - are not perfect. The frame does not go straight across because there is a seam in the wooden frame here. Nor is there a sweet shallow peak; rather, it looks odd and uneven. Perhaps I could have shuffled through the stock (heavy boxes!) to look for the best one? It's a shame because it's otherwise lovely, and the dimensions are exactly what I was looking for. Rather than the hassle of a return, I'm settling for the hassle of looking at a $150 mirror with a top edge that kind of bugs me. Caution to you, fellow buyers. Like another reviewer, I too am not using the leaning frame, but have just leaned it against my wall. Works fine this way, given the 2 rubber stoppers at the bottom, but there is a hole on each side where the remainder of the product would screw in. (The large decorative pins for those side holes don't fit in without assembling the other pieces.)

Easy assembly but black burn marks on workAnnaBeen wanting this mirror for a while now. I love the look and functionality. Assembly was super easy but the wood was dark near the rim. Looks burned? Anyways, it takes away from the overall aesthetic :(
