Terrible controllerRomainThe desk is good, looks solid but the controller to adjust the height is terrible, when you hold it to lower or raise the desk, it moves for some seconds then stops, then restarts, then stops again.
Basically you have either a sitting desk or standing desk, but going from one to the other is frustrating.

Quality and Expectation met.AllisonOther then the fact that it’s a little pricey, the quality and expectations are met. It’s big enough to fit both my gaming computer and my work laptop. I’m looking forward to purchasing a 2nd monitor and there is more than enough space for it. I work and school from home so it’s very hard to be active pre/post pandemic so it’s good I have the option to stand during my meetings or classes so I’m not sitting all day.

Well designed, love that you can change the size of the table and change table top. Sturdy construction far from being build cheap. I sync table with “Desk control” app and its working great. App can even remind you when to stand so you “dont forget” during your busy day. Great purchase, well done Ikea.
Rock solid with smooth Linpak motorsAnonymous reviewerI got the smaller Idasen and it's still huge. It was simple to assemble, does not wobble at all, and operates smoothly and quietly. The motors are made by Linpak in Denmark. Linpak products have a better reputation than those made by JieCang Linear Motion in China, which I believe are usually what you get in the sub-$1000 standing desk space, so I was pleased to see that detail. This desk has a full ten year warranty, which is why I bought it without many reviews.

What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
