Terrible controllerRomainThe desk is good, looks solid but the controller to adjust the height is terrible, when you hold it to lower or raise the desk, it moves for some seconds then stops, then restarts, then stops again. Basically you have either a sitting desk or standing desk, but going from one to the other is frustrating.2

Rock solid with smooth Linpak motorsAnonymous reviewerI got the smaller Idasen and it's still huge. It was simple to assemble, does not wobble at all, and operates smoothly and quietly. The motors are made by Linpak in Denmark. Linpak products have a better reputation than those made by JieCang Linear Motion in China, which I believe are usually what you get in the sub-$1000 standing desk space, so I was pleased to see that detail. This desk has a full ten year warranty, which is why I bought it without many reviews.5

Desk is super sturdy and the height adjustment levels are great for sitting and go well above what I'd need for standing (I'm 6'3") I have a 2 arm monitor setup installed on the back and experience almost no wobble ever.

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
