Good desk at a fair pricepyrodan007Very good quality, only problem was with screwing top to frame. Cheap plastic does not accept metal screws.5
Just a perfect deskKen LaskoI was originally looking at the SKARSTA sit/stand with the manual crank because I didn't hear good things about the automatic crank. I tried one out at the store and found the stability to be lacking at full height. I then tried the IDASEN desk, which was rock-solid at full height. I was still hesitant about the automatic crank, but the 7 or 10 year warranty (can't remember which) made it a no-brainer. Assembly was straightforward as is typical for IKEA. I've been using this desk for a few months now, and its easily the best purchase I've ever made for my home office. The desk takes about 20 seconds to go from sit to stand. It handles the weight of a 35 ultrawide monitor with a 27 mounted above, 2 bookshelf speakers, a tower PC case mounted underneath, and the usual keyboard, mouse and assorted stuff. I'm a heavy typer, and there is zero wobble or anything with this desk. The integrated cable management net helps keep things tidy. There's an app you can download for your phone where you can program in your preferred sit/stand settings, so you can press a button and the desk will raise/lower to the setting you define. Its a bit fiddly though and could use some work to make it more stable (Android version tested). All in all, I can highly recommend this desk to anyone who sits at a desk all day and wants to switch from sitting to standing.5
