Beautiful SofaAparnaI absolutely love the look of the sofa and loveseat. Clean, simple and beautiful, I have white covers. Being able to remove them, wash them, and put them back on makes everything feel fresh and clean, which is a huge plus for me.
My main concern is the durability of the interior. The material underneath the covers seems quite delicate. Every time I remove the covers and put them back on, I seem to notice another small rip or tear. I feel the interior fabric could definitely be made stronger and more durable.
I also feel that the frame could be a little sturdier. Perhaps an additional support leg underneath would help. That said, nothing has actually broken or happened to the frame, and we have had the sofa for almost a year. We also don’t use it very heavily.
Overall, I really love the sofa, especially the clean look and washable covers. If IKEA improved the durability of the interior fabric and added a little more support to the frame, I think it would be an even better product.4
Cushion’s material is weakInnaCushions are made of some synthetic material that easily torn, when you’re trying to take off the cover for washing . Also, I got some skin reaction from this synthetic.2

Called IKEA and they said that it’s not a quality issue. Part of the arm rest completely came off and that’s why the bottom gave out. After 5 months of use in our rarely used living room, this is completely unacceptable. Beyond disappointed. Do not buy!!!! 1

I bought the couch 6 months ago, and took off the covers this morning to wash them.
I was surprised to see that the seat cushions on the inside are already torn and the covers are creating many dust balls from the linen itself. 2

Ultra sofaMaryCouch is so cute and long, back cushions great- large seat cushion far too hard and bumpy- plus you can’t flip it as they don’t use complete fabric on other side.3
