Love my sofa! KayleaI’ve only owned this sofa for about a month but I absolutely love it so far. I did a deep-dive into other reviews and others have said: 1) “the corner cushion is softer than the other cushions”. I did notice this slightly when first assembled but I feel like it is so insignificant. I really don’t think I would have noticed if I didn’t read the reviews beforehand and knew to look out for this, and 2) “the cushions are too firm”. I agree that they’re firm, but I also like a firm sofa - feels expensive to me, especially this sofa in particular. I like that the cushions are firm at the time of purchase, but they will likely soften over time just like any other sofa. I also had a chance to physically sit on this sofa in the IKEA showroom and I noticed it was quite firmer at the time of purchase from when I tried it out in store. Regardless, I’m happy with it and my dogs are too. 5

Very pleased CassWe just received our Hyltarp sectional and are very pleased. It fits 5 people with extra room. The bench seating is perfect— firm but not too firm! And the back cushions are soft. Bonus—it was easy to assemble. 5
Not soft or comfortablePamelaAfter having this for 6 months I have to say it is just not performing great at all. The sofa itself is hard and not comfortable, especially the corner piece. The back cushions are also hard and have not seemed to soften at all. We purchased the blue cover and again It is not holding up and is starting to pill. Overall I would buy something else personally. 2
