A Good SizeMelindaThese mitts are easy to slip on and off unlike many tapered ones with long, narrow sleeves. They are short enough to not be obstructive and long enough to protect your arms when reaching into an oven.
Cute basic oven mittVanessaSolid oven mitt for the price. I like that it's not very long so it's easy to slip on and off, but maybe that makes it a little less protective if you're in a short sleeve. Also could be more heat resistant (thicker/denser material) but at this price point really can't complain.

Washing made the thumb stiffLaurieLoved this mitt before washing. Tested the comfort and size at the store, washed the mitt and it went stiff, especially the thumb. Very hard to bend now which makes using the oven mitt very uncomfortable.
Use extreme cautionSandraThe fabric is thick and rigid. Design is odd – cannot pinch properly with thumb thus cannot safely grip hot dishes. See the incorrect grip in the picture with the loaves. That’s as good as it gets. Had a casserole dish fly back into the oven. Oven mitts have to work properly the first time.
