Not solid wood anymoreGeorginaI've purchased white stained hemnes products in past and loved that they were mostly solid wood. I ordered the hemnes white shoe cabinet and was disappointed to learn that it's not solid, and had a glossy sheen. This is not good for a high traffic entryway. Will be returning and buying the black/brown version. 2
I love it...but no mounting screws???KristinaI honestly love this piece, it saves space and has a clean design and wasn't hard to put together. That being said....it doesn't include the screws needed to mount the piece to the wall. This seems odd considering the 2 leg design, meaning mounting it to the wall is absolutely imperative for it staying upright. The instructions don't even tell you what diameter of screw to buy...took several trips to home Depot to finally find one that worked.3

In a pretty bowl in the drawer we put away the car keys, a large box of tissues, and small tissue packets, a pair of gloves, and hand warmers, and a multi tip screw driver because you never know when you might need to tighten a screw!5
A great cabinetJuliewe have several of these, and recently bought this one in white for another area in our home. They hold lots of shoes and generally keep everything tidy. Nice to have the drawer on top for shoe care or keys etc.5

Life changing cabinetSharieWe have a large family of 8. Shoes were literally everywhere, making the front entrance shabby. This cabinet holds all the shoes, even my son-in-laws size 14 runners.
