    With GUNNÖN gazebo/pergola you quickly create an extra room on your terrace or in the garden. The roof gives cooling shade for summer lunches – and if you are many, combine two for a larger outdoor room.

    Product details

    You can use this gazebo in different ways – freestanding, against an outer house wall, over the main entrance of your home or combine two to cover a larger area, whatever suits your needs.

    The durable canopy fabric is fade-resistant to keep the colour fresh for longer.

    The fabric gives very good protection against the sun’s UV rays as it has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 25+, which means it blocks 96% of the ultraviolet radiation.

    The fabric is made of polyester, of which at least 90% is recycled – a durable material which is tested, approved and free from harmful substances and additives.

    The canopy is machine-washable and easy to remove from the frame thanks to the hook-and-loop fasteners.

    The gazebo frame is made of durable powder-coated steel, so it’s maintenance-free and easy to take care of.

    The gazebo does not provide protection against reflected or scattered solar ultraviolet radiation.

    Always remove the fabric from the gazebo frame in windy conditions.

    Possible to separate for recycling or energy recovery if available in your community.

    To extend the life of your gazebo, clean it regularly on the outside and inside and store it in a cool, dry place indoors. Please follow the disassembly instruction to disassemble.

    Two people are required to do the assembly.

    Plastic pegs are included to secure the gazebo on a lawn, fixing devices for other materials are not included.

    Care

    The best way to extend the life of your gazebo is by cleaning it regularly, both outside and inside, and storing it in a cool, dry place indoors when the season is over.

    To avoid damage to your gazebo, we recommend that you always remove the roof of the gazebo during heavy rain or wind.

    Great gazebo, but canopy lasts only few seasonsMartinaI had this gazebo for 2 summers until the canopy ripped. I took it off for winter, but during the second summer I noticed the fabric was already starting to get brittle, by the end of the second summer the canopy ripped during a storm when I wasn't home. Unfortunately due to the very favorable price the canopy fabric is cheap, not rip stop, not UV treated. It would probably double the price with good quality durable outdoor fabric. Sadly at this price the canopy is almost disposable, so it would be nice if IKEA offered replacement canopy too.3

    Summer Deck Cover GuyMy deck is on the top floor with no roof like everyone below me, facing south east. This cover I bought fits perfectly on the deck. It was windy a few days ago, so I will anchor it to the railing by three of the poles, and put wood under the two poles so I don't have to duck going under the cross beams next to my apartment. I plan to buy the wood privacy screens to go with it. 5
