Leaked within one yearFatemehThis mattress protector ruined a new king mattress, bith purchased less than a year ago. My daughter who co-sleeps sometimes had an accident and it leaked into the center if the mattress making a big stain right in the middle. If it was the edges, I would suspect the leak was only due to being close to the edge of the protector. But this happened because the protector fabric is defective. For a protector at 45$ price range we expected at least 2 years complete protection. It has ruined our new king mattress... unbelievable.
We have a protector from Ikea on our queen mattress from 8 years ago, which functions very well. So I believe this is a sign quality decline which I did not expect from Ikea. Will take it to the Calgary store, to see how they respond.

Soft and safe-trustworthyRichardI have purchased a couple of these to date and find them to be excellent mattress covers. They are soft and very unlike some of the plastic feel you get from other products. They fit well and offer terrific protection which makes persons with disabilities less concerned.

NOT waterproof- false advertisementJasmineThe most recent reviews that it wasn’t waterproof. I tried to give IKEA the benefit of a doubt. Unfortunately, very first night we used this mattress, protector, and accident seat right through the mattress protector. This is pure false advertising. Water resistant would’ve been better wording. This is definitely not waterproof. Ruined my mattress. I live over 100 km away and it is very inconvenient to drive back to return. Really reconsidering buying stuff from IKEA anymore. If this is the Quality they’re going to have.
