What a disappointment, all of them have different measurements, so they look very uneven, and they have a strong smell. Not as bad as the Knipsa, that one smelled horrible, but still strong enough that it is very uncomfortable. The first one did not have that smell. They have to go back, unfortunately.1

These baskets look beautiful in the cabinet i got from Ikea as it is brown black. Very strong and looks very elegant. I think they are very popular as Ikea kept running out of them. Im very happy with my purchase ☺️

Material

What is seagrass?

Sedge (or seagrass) grows naturally in South-East Asian coastal areas. For our products, we mainly use cultivated sedge from field areas that have previously been flooded by the sea, making them unsuitable for rice cultivation. But sedge grows well in salty soils and even helps cleanse them. After harvest, the plant is left to dry in the sun making it a hardwearing fibre ideal for weaving or braiding baskets and mats with beautiful colour variations.
