Great little scaleMichellegreat little scale. compact, easy to clean and easy to use with any item/container. 5
AnnoyingMaryiaThe screen turns off by itself too quickly, making it difficult to weigh multiple ingredients. It's really frustrating to keep turning it back on during meal prep..1
Awful to work withPhilipThe display on the scale is very nice. Aside from that the scale is awful. It constantly turns off when you are in the middle of measuring stuff. So often I have to lift the plate up and try to activate it again.. Sometimes this works sometimes it decides not to. It just constantly turns off.. But then if it’s sitting on its side, not being used. It will randomly turn on. I can see the display turn on randomly. If you’re measuring one thing once it’s fine. But if say you’re putting multiple ingredients into something. It turns off too quickly too soon. Also power button below the thing you’re measuring. I’m sure there’s some sort of special reason they gave. But again very poor user design for an IKEA product.2

I Bought ThisCritiquesThis scale was a comparable price to similar ones on Amazon if you factor in the batteries as well (if you have AAAs already it’s a lot cheaper) For future replacements you don't have to deal with those expensive button batteries other scales come with though. The max weight on this scale is a few pounds lower then similarly priced ones. Accuracy is okay, maybe +/- 5g, but measurements will fluctuate a lot. Even with nothing on it, it will often show you a weight so you will need to tare to use it. This is what I have read in comments about other scales too though. The biggest issue for me to get used to is there is no "off" button or switch and the screen turns off too quickly, which is also another issue common of other kitchen scales too. It looks decent and seems durable enough. If you only need a max weight of 6lbs and don't need to be super precise this seems to be comparable to other similarly priced scales. Something better would likely cost much more. Like and Subscribe!5
Does the jobDonnaBought this to upgrade our kitchen scale. So far so good!5
Kitchen ScaleMarkNice design and works as advertised. 5
UnreliableKevinI was measuring out some tea and sometimes the measurement was 4 grams, and sometimes (for the same quantity) the measurement was 0. 1
Inherently inaccurate DrewThe scales buttons are on the same level as the scale, so when you do anything to press the buttons such as tare it will uncalibrate the reading. It is not good for fine measurements which is probably why it says "not for trade" but it's also not good for measuring a few spoon fulls of sugar2
Great findFabiolaI've been using this IKEA digital scale for coloring my hair, and it's proven to be quite handy. Its compact size fits perfectly in my washroom drawer, and the affordability was a definite plus. However, I've rated it 3 stars because the manual could be clearer, particularly on how to turn it off. I found myself unable to manually turn it off and had to wait for it to power down automatically. Additionally, it's worth noting that the measurements can be affected if the surface isn't level, which caused a bit of concern initially as not every surface in my house is perfectly leveled. Nonetheless, once I got past these minor inconveniences, the scale worked as expected.3
Digital ScaleAnnaGood size for measuring baking ingredients. A bit finicky, the weight display functions, ounces/grams are not in English4

Rezeroes while weighingAnonymous reviewerIt can accurately measure to the gram but if you add weight too slowly it zeroes as the weight is added. You can then lift your dish and it will give the exact weight in negative.
Could be a quirk of the sensor or could be a programming bug.
Workaround for now: lift your dish as you add weight and if it goes negative, add that to your total.2
great food scaleSandraThe scale is great, and easy to use. The only limitation is the physical size. You need to place the item to be weighed in a bowl or on a plate that has a base no bigger than the round dimension indicated. So it is a bit small for some of my bowls. But otherwise great. Love the ability to switch easily between grams and oz.4
