Needs improvementCTurns off to quickly and if left for extended time, batteries will die. On/Off button best at top or away bowl area. I used it once after purchasing, it no longer works a couple of months later. Otherwise, a good item to have in kitchen.
Annoying SilviaThis scale is not usable. It turns off too quickly. It’s absolutely annoying to measure ingredients like this. Also it turns on randomly and thus drains the batteries. a simple old fashioned on/off switch would solve the problem.
Don't waste your moneyYaghmaThis scale is so glitchy, it works properly maybe 3 out of 10 times. The on/off button is unresponsive, the tare function doesn't work, and it automatically switches off and comes back on with a random number on its screen.

Too sensitiveDayneThe scale is nice looking and clean, and certainly easy to use. Unfortunately, it turns on by itself. So much that it drains batteries within a couple weeks. I left it in the counter with nothing close to it to make sure nothing could be setting it off but, as we walk by we can see the scale turning on without anything around. It doesn't it nonstop every few seconds until the batteries die. I'd take it back but it would cost more for my time and the gas than the scale is worth. I wouldn't recommend.

Frustrating Experience - shuts down far too quicklyPriscillaI found it frustrating to use this scale as it shut down far too quickly (I think it was 20 seconds) and the on/off button is under the bowl so you have to lift the bowl off to turn the scale back on. I did appreciate that when the scale turned off, it remembered the weight at shutdown but the frustration of having to continually lift my bowl off and restart the scale outweighed the benefit of it remembering the weight upon shutdown.
Turns offAnonymousI am getting rid of this scale because it feeds my anxiety; it turns off even before I've finished weighing something. And there is no easy way to turn it back on, the on/off switch us UNDER the bowl so I have to either lift the bowl every 30 seconds, annoying if I have flour in one hand or randomly move my hand around over the top of it willy-nilly and wait for it turn back on. It's a serious device of frustration and cannot believe that it came from beloved Ikea. Makes me doubt everything I buy from there now. I've changed the batteries - it doesn't make any difference.
Random scaleClaytonThe scale display fluctuates several grams regularly and sometimes up to 10 grams which is not useful when baking and fairly exact amounts are needed. Will be returning this scale.
Drains batteries really fastZoeI like this model for the most part but I've found that it drains batteries incredibly fast. I've barely used mine since I bought it and I've had to swap the batteries twice.

Battery drainerLahiruThis scale has a serious battery drain problem that only becomes obvious over time. I used it lightly for a few weeks, then left it unused for a couple of months, when I came back, the batteries were completely dead.
I assumed it was a bad set of batteries and replaced them. Same result. After testing two different sets over several months (short periods of use followed by long periods of non-use), it became clear the issue is the scale itself.
The frequent auto on/off behavior seems to drain the batteries rather than save them. Even when not actively used, the scale continues to draw power.
Unfortunately, by the time I could confidently conclude this was a defective design and not battery quality, more than 90 days had passed. When I tried to return it, customer service made a big issue of the return window instead of acknowledging the product flaw..
I wouldn’t recommend this unless you’re prepared to constantly replace batteries and or deal with annoying customer service.
Times out too quicklyJemmaScale looks nice, is easy to keep clean, and has a hook hole on the back for wall hanging. However, the auto shutoff feature makes it very annoying to use as it forgets your measurement. It also doesn't reliably measure small amounts (e.g. adding salt to a bowl of flour).
Simple and works well!AracelyI'm actually using this little scale to help ship items to the U.S for Duties and taxes calculations. Obviously, you can't weigh large packages but it's great for individual plushies, Key chains, baby clothes, and other items. It is so easy to use, and you can change the setting from grams to ounces at the push of a button. The readings are very accurate. I love this thing!

Stay awayRoxanaThis scale is a nightmare. I had one from IKEA that I loved, and after it lasted 9 years, I bought this one over a year ago. Unfortunately, it’s inconsistent, unreliable, and very hard to work with.It goes off while you are working with it. Why not bring the old model back?
