    Good value but visible seam down the centerMatthewI do like the look of this wall light and it is a very good price. Unfortunately you can see a seam that runs through the center of the glass shade from how they made it. Takes away from the overall look. Brightness isn't an issue if you get the higher watt bulb.3
    Unwise design; find something else.PeterI installed one of these FRIHULT lamp fixtures for a relative. I was surprised how sub-optimal this design is. You have to partially disassemble it for installation. It has too many parts. You need 2 different screwdrivers. There is room for a standard E26 bulb, but you are limited to a small base E12 max 5.3 watts, which severely constrains your choice of bulb. What were they thinking? It does work, dimly. Don't buy this if you want lots of light. Don't buy many, because it takes a long time to install each one. You can easily drop and lose one of the 4 required screws (2 are Torx type!). No keyhole slots for screwing onto ceiling wiring box. This design totally is out of sync with efficient practical design concepts. But it does look okay when installed, though is dim with one 450 lumen 2700K E12 bulb.2
    Practical and SimpleScottIve used this fixture in a number of different locations within the house. It is versatile. Doesnt take much space and gives off plenty of light. 5

    What is glass?

    Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
