Very unreliable BasilI've had this dishwasher for 6 months, and I'm already calling for a warranty service. Apparently it's a control board issue.
Worst dishwasher I have ever owned, and I have had many!ComptonI’ve owned at least half a dozen dishwashers over the years — none of them high-end — and this is by far the worst performer I’ve experienced. From day one, it has struggled to get dishes properly clean, even with normal loads and standard cycles.
The drying function is inconsistent at best. Sometimes dishes come out dry, but often they’re still wet and need to be towel-dried.
It’s also noticeably loud. The overall operation is noisy, and the motor in particular has a harsh, almost strained sound that makes it seem like it’s working too hard.
For a brand-new appliance, the performance and noise level are extremely disappointing.

But hey, 15 years isn't bad. We bought this to replace it and it's absolutely the worst dishwasher I've ever used. It's unbelievable that a product like this is for sale? We can't fit our normal sized dinner plates on the bottom without the top rack spinner banging into the plates? It doesn't dry at all, period. It doesn't clean. Our routine has been put only our small dishes in and after its done its cycle take wet dishes out and hand wash a few of them again? Seriously. Don't waste your money on this.
DisappointingAnonymous reviewerI have owned 3 dishwashers in my life: some from Korea and some from Germany. I recently purchased this Flaboda from Ikea and it is the worst dishwasher I have ever had. It is loud, has very long wash times and the dishes don’t dry (despite the long wash time!) and even if I hit the button for “heated dry”. If having a dishwasher that has a front that matches your cabinets is cery important to you theb this is unfortunately the only one for sale in Canada under CAD 1,000… but I would rather have my Bosch for CAD 850 and not be frustrated every time I unpack the not-so-clean dishes from this silly Ikea model.
